when it comes to Fall jewelry. This season everything is about jewel tones and statement necklaces, bold earrings and big cuffs. It is all about the wow! Here are a few of my fall faves.
Big bold and gold
Mendoza necklace by Aurelie Bidermann
Molded collar by Cornelia Webb
Delicate fringed necklace by Cornelia Webb
Suzanna Dai earrings – I love all of them, especially the price tag!
Dannijo Sade earrings
“I think I hurt his feelings, but honestly where am I going to wear something that fancy?”
“I like chunky things and this traditional little bracelet is just not what I would want.”
“I can’t believe he spent that much money right now.”
“If he’s going to spend that much, then I want it to be something that I really like”
Do any of these phrases sound familiar?? I’ve thought about writing this blog for a long time and just couldn’t figure out how to make it brief.
Then it hit me……..a client whose husband bought her TONS of jewelry once told me, “ANYthing my husband gives me, I LOVE”.
And it’s that simple, really.
The corollary being…..if you do NOT want jewelry as a gift, this is very easy. Simply RETURN/DON’T LIKE/DON’T WEAR what he gives you and I promise that you won’t be getting much more!
I love looking at Etsy! For me, it can just as much of a “time suck” as Pinterest, except – it’s better because you can actually buy stuff. I have picked out a few of my most recent favorite things. Take a look at them now, because by next week, I will have found something else I like even better.
This is a fabulous old pawn set – the turquoise in the cuff is gorgeous.
I am STILL not sick of summer friendship bracelets. Neon rhinestone bracelets – who doesn’t need one or 4 or 6?
Great end-of-the-summer statement necklace – only $32!
